BRISTOL FIRE COMPANY proudly protects 10000 people living in an area of 1.2 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. We are one volunteer fire company in a volunteer fire department of four companies. We operate a 2005 American LaFrance 75 ft quint with 2000 GPM pump and a heavy rescue unit. The fire company was founded in 1857 and we are still in our original building.
