About Briggsville Fire Company:
Briggsville Fire Company proudly protects 1000 people living in an area of 83 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Briggsville Fire Company is going on it's 40th year this year. Started in 1961 it has come a long way. We now have 30 FireFighters, 3 of which are Captains, 3 LT's and Asst. Chief and a Chief. All Firefighters are Certified State Firefighter 1. We also have a Comapany B which is non-certified memebers that help out on scene opperating pumps, driving tankers and set up and filling SCBA's.
