About Oakhill & District Fire Dept:
The Oakhill and District Fire Department is located just outside the town of Bridgewater on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. Our Department is well supported by our volunteers as well as our Ladies Auxillary.
At present we have have 2 pumpers, one being a CAFS Unit, the other a 1050, also a 3000 Canadian Gallon Tanker, and a Rescue Unit.
Our hall has a reputation to be one of the best in the area and it hosts dances, weddings and other gatherings.
Bingo is one source of our Fund Raising which is held every Sunday afternoon.
