About Salem Volunteer Fire Department:
Salem Volunteer Fire Department proudly protects 2000 people living in an area of 70 square miles. We operate out of One stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Our Department Is All Volunteer. ALL Funding Is Provided Through Fundraisers. We Currently Have Four Trucks In Service; Two Of Which The Membership Have Built Inhouse With Assistance From A Local Business.
