About Bradenton Fire Department:
The City of Bradenton Fire Department is comprised of three stations. The average annual emergency response is 5,000-6,000 per year, with 23% being fire related. The fire department operates 5 basic life support (BLS) engine companies, two aerial ladders (quints), and a heavy rescue unit. Specialty units include a dive team and a marine rescue division that has a complement of two watercraft.
