Boyle County Vol. Fire Protection Dist. Engine Co. 6 proudly protects 400 people living in an area of 168 square miles. We operate out of 6 stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Boyle County Engine 6 is one of 6 stations located in Boyle County. Boyle County is operated by a county tax and a seven man board. Engine 6 is operated at present time by 12 members, consisting of 1 captain, 3 lieutenants, and 8 firefighters, who are highly dedicated to training and serving the public.
