Booneville-Owsley Co. Vol. Fire Dept. proudly protects 6500 people living in an area of 200 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. We are a vol. department in the hills of eastern Kentucky our department was formed in the year of 1970. And Finally one of our many dreams has just come true, We just took delivery of a 2002 Kenworth T-300 pumper tanker ENGINE #2 the apparatus is fully equiped with everything to fight fire, Picture's Comeing soon.
