Blasdell Volunteer Fire Department proudly protects 2900 people living in an area of 1 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Blasdell Vol. Fire Dept. was the first dept (in the Town of Hamburg) along with the Big Tree Vol. Fire Co. in 1993 to incorporate a structured TRUCK COMPANY SOP for all reports of building fires.
