Woolmarket Volunteer Fire Department proudly protects 8000 people living in an area of 45 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. The Woolmarket Volunteer Fire Department is under Harrison County Fire Service and provide mutual aid to any department in the county. Woolmarket Volunteer Fire Department is the only volunteer department in Harrison County to have a thermal imaging system (ISG Talisman K-90) and a heavy rescue air bag system (Sava).
