About Brighton Volunteer Fire Department:
Brighton Township Volunteer Fire Department proudly protects 9000 people living in an area of 20 square miles. We operate out of 3 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Brighton Twp. V.F.D. was established in July of 1940. The Brighton Twp V.F.D.(Beaver County Station 63) provides fire and rescue protection to its community as well as numerous other in the Beaver County area. The B.T.V.F.D. now also provides an ems first response program for Brighton Twp. The B.T.V.F.D. currently has 9 pieces of equipment operating out of three stations with 43 active volunteer firefighters.
