Beaver Dam Fire/Rescue Department proudly protects 4200 people living in an area of 300 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Beaver Dam Fire Department is the largest department in Ohio County. We average 250 to 280 runs a year, last year we had 275. We are the only department in the county that does high angle, low angle rescue and water rescue. This department is trained in many other fields as well.
