About Batesville Fire Department & Rescue 10:
Batesville Fire Department & Rescue 10 proudly protects 8000+ people living in an area of 15 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. We have a total of 43 members that volunteer to serve the City of Batesville and the surrounding rural areas. Our members are combinations of EMT's, Firefighter/EMT's and Firefighter/First Responders. We sponsor two fund raising events a year. In May our Ladies Auxillary puts on a pancake and sausage breakfast and in August we host a parade and festival.
