About Baltic Volunteer Fire Department:
Baltic Volunteer Fire Department proudly protects 2100 + people living in an area of 68 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Baltic Volunteer Fire Department was created January 3, 1911. H.S. Juve was appointed the first Fire Chief with 28 men signing on as volunteers. The department began with two chemical engines. Today the Fire Department has 32 active members. Its equipment includes two pumper engines, a tanker, a 4x4 truck for grass fires and one rescue vehicle.
