About Babson Park Fire Department:
Babson Park Fire Department-Sta. 3 proudly protects 1500 people living in an area of 35 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. Paid Fireman Monday Thru Friday During The Daytime Hours.Volunteer Firemen Are Responsible For Nights and Weekends. Largely Rural Area with Many Orange Groves and Brush/Wooded Area's. Most Residential Homes Within 3 Miles of the Fire Dept. Two (2) Paid Firemen with Fifteen (15) Volunteers. One (1) Engine, One (1) Pumper, One (1)Tanker, One (1)Brush Truck, One (1) Rescue Truck, and One (1) Inflatable Avion Boat w/25 HP Motor for Lake Rescue. NOTE: DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL, WE ARE UNABLE TO TRADE OR MAIL OUT REQUEST FOR OUR FIRE DEPARTMENT PATCH. WE REGRET THIS ACTION, BUT WE ARE SIMPLY HONORING THE REQUEST OF THE FRENCH ARTIST WHO DESIGNED THIS PATCH EXCLUSIVELY FOR OUR FIRE DEPARTMENT.
