About Aurora Volunteer Fire Department:
Aurora Volunteer Fire Department proudly protects 1100 people living in an area of 120 square miles. We operate out of one stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Aurora Fire Department supplies fire protection services and also First Responder emergency services in conjuction with the Brookings Hospital for the city of Aurora and the surrounding rural area.
