We operate out of one stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. The Atlanta Fire Department is located in northeast Texas and covers an area of approximately 225 sq. miles. The Fire Deparment also covers Emergency Medical Service Transports with two Mobil Intensive Care Units and two Bls-Als units. We have twenty paid personnel and twenty volunteers in order to provide the protection for our citizens.
