About Lewis & Clark Fire District:
Lewis & Clark Rural Fire Protection District proudly protects 3000 people living in an area of 20 square miles. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Lewis & Clark Fire District is made up of 25 volunteers and is governed by a board of directors elected by the public. The district covers approximately 20 sq. miles with 2 stations strategically located at the north and south end of the district. The district maintains 3 pumpers, 2 tenders, 2 Type III ambulance/rescues and 1 command vehicle. We also have a 1943 Mack side mount pumper that has been restored by department members and is used in parades and other exhibitions.
