Apache Junction Fire District proudly protects 38-60000 people living in an area of 62 square miles. We operate out of 4 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a paid status. AJFD has 68 personnel, that run approximately 5,000 calls per year. Services that we provide with our ALS staffed engines are: Fire, EMS, Fire Prevention/Investigation/Fire Code Enforcement, Public Education and Safety Awareness Classes, CPR and First-Aid Training, Immunization Clinics, HazMat Incident Mitigation, and Hazardous/Poisonous Reptile Relocation Services.
