About Anchorage Fire and EMS:
Anchorage Fire and EMS proudly protects 6000 people living in an area of 3.0 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. Combination paid/volunteer, serving the city and surrounding area. Two pumpers,two ALS ambulances,a mobile command post/dispatch center. 10 paid personnel, approximatly 20 volunteers, 4 live-in volunteers.
