We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Ammon Volunteer Fire Department consists of 29 dedicated members. Training is scheduled every Tuesday night. We are a proud department and have one of the best records of saving buildings in the valley. As a department, we look forward to 1999 when we will see the ground break on a new modern fire station.
