Firehouse Magazine was founded in 1976 and is recognized as the publication of record in fire service for providing timely, in-depth coverage of major emergency incidents. The magazine covers every geographical area and every topic of interest relevant to the fire service including major incidents, operations and administration, research, education, apparatus, equipment, industry news, calendar of events, human interest items and training information. Each year we present our Heroism and Community Service Awards program, honoring firefighters who have demonstrated bravery and courage in the face of danger; we also publish our very popular career and volunteer run surveys.
Firehouse Magazine is dedicated to editorial excellence with a commitment to being the most innovative, visually compelling and factually accurate magazine in the firefighting industry. Firehouse.com signifies Firehouse's commitment to its readership and advertisers, as well as anyone else interested in the field of firefighting, rescue and EMS.
